The Pear Festival takes place at Moraga Commons Park, which has year-round facilities including picnic areas, a playground, volleyball and bocce courts, and a skate park. A free Summer Concert Series takes place at Moraga Commons Park on Thursdays from June until August, and it hosts a Holiday Tree Lighting in December.
Fourth of July celebrations take place at both Moraga Commons Park and Moraga Country Club. The Country Club’s exquisite 6,150-yard Robert Muir Graves-designed course winds around hills, canyons, and creeks. Other facilities available to club members include a 22,000-square-foot clubhouse with a lounge and upscale dining room, 12 tennis courts, and an outdoor heated lap pool.
